Happy 2024!! I hope you have had some time for rest and reflection.

While I’ve kept my books partially open through Christmas and New Year, I’ve also been tying up the ends of a renovation project that has taken a lot longer than expected!

Lots of change, 2 house moves, packing, unpacking, cleaning, a stressed-out and allergic cat 🐈‍⬛, too many trades to count and only one missed client order 😬.

But as of Friday, I’ll be 95% done and ready to completely unpack, settle and relax into my “new” space and a shiny new year of supporting my gorgeous clients through every hormonal twist and turn you can throw at me 😉

I’m also looking at some new “mini” astrology and soul-purpose readings as a stand-alone or adjunct to your naturopathic consult so stay tuned :)

I often hear colleagues negate the need for Menopa

I often hear colleagues negate the need for Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) through peri-menopause with the view that menopause is natural and MHT is medicalising a natural process.

I also see many clients who come with a definite mindset that they want to avoid hormones, often due to fear and misinformation about where today’s hormonal therapy is at.

But when I see women in their 40s and 50s really struggling through rage, depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, loss of mental acuity and memory, it’s my job to offer MHT as a viable option to both alleviate symptoms AND ensure long-term protection for brain, bone and heart health.

And of course I still promote all the supportive mechanisms around diet, lifestyle, supplements, social networks, creativity, purpose and/spiritual practice … but bang for buck, there is nothing that works more efficiently or effectively than modern MHT (we’re not talking old-school synthetics here!)
